Please help license Naturopathic Doctors in New York State!

Hey all! If you live in the Ithaca area, and Senator O'Mara and Assemblywoman Lifton are your representatives, please email them today! A license will increase access to healthcare options, allow conventional medical practitioners to collaborate with Naturopathic doctors and improve the health of our community. )

A strong naturopathic licensing bill is in the NY legislature and has a new sponsor, Felix Ortiz who is the Deputy Speaker of the House. We have great support in the Senate. The bill is stuck in the Assembly Education Committee because the chair, Deborah Glick won't let it come to a vote. YOU are getting this email because your assembly person is on that committee so your input is CRITICAL! It will only take you all of two minutes to make a huge difference on the future health of New Yorkers. There are only a few days left in the legislative session but we still have a good chance so this must be done now. It's a simple as 1, 2, 3. 1) Click on this link. Email Your New York Legislators 2) That takes you to a page where you fill in your NY address. 3) Then you choose a letter, i.e. "from a patient", "from an MD", "from a Business owner", "from anyone", etc Patient and MD letters have a place where you can personalize it to tell your story but is not required.
