Dr. Barton's mission is to restore function, alleviate pain, and to improve physiological health in members of our community. We seek to educate our practice members on healthy living, improve their ability to care for themselves and decrease prescription medication reliance. 

Acupuncture employs the use of very thin, single use, sterile needles, which are inserted into specific points on the body. Insertion is relatively pain free and followed by a warm, heavy, possibly tingly or achy feeling at the needle site. Typically a treatment involves the insertion of approximately 6-12 needles, which are retained for about 20 minutes. The patient will often find treatment to be very relaxing and many times, leave the office with immediate relief from their symptoms.
